Practice Post

In 2-3 sentences, what is the coolest thing you've ever done or learned about in an English class? (Please choose something that was educational - the time you made paper airplanes when you had a substitute teacher is not a useful answer, for example.)  

Please answer this question, and comment meaningfully on someone else's post.  

Welcome 11th Graders!

Welcome to the 11th grade English blog!  This is a place where you can share ideas, ask questions, and see what others are thinking.  

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind while using this site:

1. You are accountable for everything you post.

Your user name will be attached to anything you post.  Mrs. Helms receives an email for every post, even if it is deleted immediately.

2. Please be respectful to all of your classmates at all times.  If someone has a question you can answer, do so respectfully.

3. Your grade will be determined based on your posts.  

You are expected to participate in each of my blog posts according the the instructions on that particular post.

4. Let's keep this site tidy!

If you are starting a new idea or making an original entry, please do so through the "post" feature.  If you are responding to someone, "comment" under their entry.  If you are responding to that, do so through "reply".
